AXB Health and Safety Policy

AXB Pty Ltd (BSP V248938 aim to provide safe transport and provide a world best practice commercial passenger vehicle service for our drivers, passengers and other road users. Travel from all locations to and from Airports involves the continuous improvement and evaluation of vehicle safety and safe driving in all road conditions. AXB is a specialised airport transfer service and receives commercial passenger vehicle bookings via www.axb.au or by phone 9090-0003. AXB owns, operates or controls the AXB vehicles and booking system.

AXB Vehicle Policy

  1. AXB only provide registered commercial passenger vehicles for hire by online or phone booking only. Each booking is identified by a unique booking reference number and driver allocation is via the booking system to approved CPVV drivers. Unbooked services will not be accepted. 
  2. AXB vehicles are new model vehicles or approved vehicles with 5 Star ANCAP Safety ratings.
  3.  AXB Vehicles can be identified by the AXB sign or AXB vehicle decals.
  4. AXB vehicles have expert dealer braking system and mechanical servicing with road worthy inspection on an annual basis.
  5. AXB vehicles are fitted with company approved tyres and regularly inspected for safety and road worthy compliance.
  6. AXB vehicles have airport permits for the drop off and pick up of passengers at all terminals.
  7. AXB vehicles carry hand sanitiser and face masks. Please consider your driver and other passengers and postpone your travel if you are sick.
  8. AXB vehicles are cleaned bewteen each booking to safe transport victoria covid cleaning regulations.
  9. AXB vehicles are tracked via a tracking app and driver allocations and tracking history are recorded.

AXB Driver Policy

  1. AXB drivers must be accredited commercial passenger vehicle drivers on a Safe Transport Victoria public register.
  2. AXB drivers must have a minimum five years prior safe driving experience with no prior motor vehicle accidents involving passenger injury.
  3.  AXB drivers must have completed a company assessment of safe driving skills.
  4. AXB drivers must comply with the CPVV Industry codes of practice.
  5. AXB drivers must comply with the AXB Driver Agreement, including fatigue management and clause 7: Mutual obligation and safety statement.

Child Safety Policy

  1. AXB recommends all AXB drivers have Working With Children Cards.
  2. AXB supply and use award winning Mother’s Choice Child Restraints.
  3. Use of seats depends of the child’s age and size, however;
  4. Rear facing Baby Seats are recommended for 0 to 12 months old;
  5. Forward facing Child Seats are recommended from 1 to 4 years old;
  6. Booster Seats are recommended for children from 4 to 7 years old.
Customer child seat orders are placed when making a booking. Notes can be added in the booking for any special requirement. Customers are welcome to supply and fit their own child seats. AXB Drivers will ensure the child seats are cleaned and fitted in accordance with manufacturers guidelines. In the passenger vans, AXB drivers ensure that approved extension straps are used when required.
 

AXB Accident and Incident Report Register

AXB Pty Ltd, since 2014, have a perfect safety record, however, AXB maintains a Safety incidents register and encourages near miss reporting. In the event of any safety incident or accident causing injury, the event must be reported and recorded in the below AXB Accident and Incident Report Register:
